Q.1 Why did you start training and did you have any goals of competing to begin with?
When I was a teenager Arnold schwarzenegger, Van damm, Sly Stallone where in my favourite movies and inspired me to get building muscle! I got my first job as a gym assistance in hotel leisure club at 16 started lifting and eating the right foods, I was talked into my first show by work colleague's and friends loved the experience and meeting ifbb pro Marcus ruhl inspired me more
Q.2 Were you into sport growing up? If so which ones?
Being originally from Somerset Rugby and cricket were the more popular sports around played abit but wasn't as passionate as I am about bodybuilding
Q.3 What is your current training schedule like? How does it differ between pre-contest and off season? Do you do much cardio work?
Off season I train 4 times a week more rest too grow working one large body part each time focusing more on heavy shorter sets longer rest and including more powerlifting exercises like deadlifts, squats and heavy bench to thicken myself, preparing for comps I start doing more cardio only couple times a week for first few weeks I change my training to include alot more sets and higher rep work less rest between sets 6days a week I don't do cardio every morning like some I have fast metabolism burn calories quick so I focus more on strict dieting
Q.4 How long have you been competing? 10 years on/off

EFBB Junior west 2nd, NABBA junior 2nd, NABBA west novice 2nd, NABBA west class 2nd, NABBA West Class 2, 1st 2013 NABBA Mr Britian Class 2, 3rd 2014, NABBA Mr Britain Class 2, 2nd 2015
Q.6 Who are your main sources of inspiration in your training and whose physiques do you most admire?
Arnold schwarzenegger, Dorian Yates, Dennis Wolf, Marcus Ruhl, Ben Pakulski
Q.7 What are your current competitive goals?
To place 1st at the NABBA Britain and overall then set myself a goal for top 3 at the Nabba Universe offered Pro card by 35
Q.8 Why do you feel you have been able to make continuous gains over the years?
Patience! Hardwork being able to acept criticism and working harder on any weaker areas I've always trained alone and not had much guidance for years learning by own mistakes always remain focused and determined to improve My favourite moto is Progress demands sacrifice I've had too sacrifice those nights out having social life eating what I would like taking jobs that allow me too eat when I need too and working long shifts in heavy industry to earn enough to pay for my sport
Q.10 How much do you feel supplements and sports nutrition help your training?
Extreme Mass is the best all in one I've ever used no bloating big gains in size and strength, glutamine complex has helped my recovery and increased strength and pro is perfect for dieting keeps the muscle while helping me burn calories
Q.11 What is it that motivates you through a hard session?
Thinking about who I need to beat at shows and feeling the pump I hate the group chats I see in gyms I like to just have my earphones in heavy metal blasting and forcing those last couple of reps I chat after!!
