Q.1 Why did you start training and did you have any goals of competing to begin with?
A.1 I started training to get fitter and in condition; I had no goals of competing until I'd been training for my first year.
Q.2 What is your current training schedule like? How Do you do much cardio work?
A.2 My current training is a 4-day split during the week training each body part once using all the main powerlifting mass building moves. I then train events all day on a Saturday where I do lots of speed and fitness work as well as all the events that I have coming up in forthcoming competitions.
Q.3 How long have you been competing?
A.3 I have been competing for 3-years.
Q.4 What are your main competitive achievements?
A.4 My main competition achievements are competing in Britains Strongest Man 2008 and UK Strongest Man 2007 & 2008.
Q.5 Who are your main sources of inspiration?
Q.5 My main sources of inspiration are all the top athletes in the world who I am chasing.
Q.6 What are your current competitive goals?
Q.6 My main goals are to become Britains Strongest Man and then to break on to the world scene.
Q.7 Was it always strongman you wanted to compete in or was it just something you excelled at and then decided to compete in?
A.7I have always loved strongman and when I started training and realised I had the right genetics, I knew it was the sport for me.
Q.8 What supplements do you use?
A.8 My main supplements are Extreme Whey, Extreme Protein, Extreme Mass, Extreme BCAA, Amino Acids, Glutamine, CLA and Multi Vitamins.
Q.9 How much do you feel supplements and sports nutrition help your training?
A.9 I feel supplements help me alot with recovery and muscle strength development as long as I am training hard and eating a clean diet.
Q.10 What is it that motivates you through a hard session?
A.11 The thought of someone beating me in my next competition because I have been lazy.
