Q.1 Why did you start bodybuilding and did you have any goals of competing to begin with?
Started lifting weights when I was 22, I had no intention of competing!
Q.2 What is your current training schedule like? How does it differ between pre-contest and off season?
Off season is 4 days on, and during contest season 5 days @ one body part a day. Pre contest cardio is 6 days a week first thing in morning.
Q.3 How long have you been competing?
1 year

My first show was the UKBFF where I placed 2nd in the heavy weight class and then I competed in the 2008 NABBA Class 1 which I won.
Q.6 What weight are you off season and contest time?
Around 290 - 300 off season and at contest time for the NABBA Britain I was 255 at 5'11"
Q.7 What are your current competitive goals?

UKBFF Britain 2008-06-20
NABBA Britain 2009
Q.8 Why do you feel you have been able to make continuous gains over the years?
The right advice and NOT cheating, I stick to whatever advice I have been told to follow.
Q.9 What supplements do you use?
Creatine and whey protein. Off season I use a mass gainer for the extra cal's, I recently started using liquid fury before training...it’s awesome!
Q.10 How much do you feel supplements and sports nutrition help your training?
Yes they help a lot, especially in my job when on the go and sometimes unable to stop for food. But purely I use as a "food supplement" not a replacement.
Q.11 What is it that motivates you through a gruelling workout?
I psych myself for my workouts, I plan them through the day - I don’t just turn up and do whatever I feel like, I mentally prep myself first. I feel this works extremely well for me. I will also use supplements like the Liquid fury before a workout and I also use a carb drink during my workouts...(only off season).
Q.12 Who, if anyone, do you want to thank over the years for their help?
My Mrs for putting up with the HELL of me dieting and with my mood swings!.. Gary Howell as been a great help and personal friend over the last few years...
Also would like to thank PAUL Scarborough who helped me prep for the final two weeks for the NABBA Britain - and who will also be helping me prep for the UKBFF in September, I can't wait. I’ll keep you all posted!
