| I have been with Extreme for as long as a month, and if people tell you a month isn’t long enough to tell if a product is good, or of it works, they are wrong!
I don’t want to sound sycophantic, or like your typical salesman trying to flog his wears to you, because that’s not the case. have been using Extreme Protein, KR Evolution, and Extreme Amino’s and I’ve just taken delivery of Liquid Fury and Extreme Carbs.
Since using the KR Evolution, three capsules before workout and three after, and taking two on non training days, in combination with three protein drinks per day and a handful of amino’s with each meal I have gained a clean 5 lb’s. My condition is, if anything, slightly better. I am weighing a good 250lb and my strength is getting greater!
Now I am the world’s biggest sceptic, I have tried many different supplements over the years but I can honestly say that, in such a short period of time, these are the best results I have ever achieved.
All supplements are, of course, taken in conjunction with a good well balanced diet. I am not on a competition diet, but a maintenance diet. I am keeping my protein around the 250 to 300gm per day, carb’s I don’t even count. I take in enough to ensure I don’t physically flag, but not sufficient to bring on a fat build up. I go on instinct.
Fats, well I use Udo’s and put a tablespoon in with my protein drinks.
I have just taken delivery of Extreme Carb’s and will add two, or three, scoops post workout with my protein drink. If I am unable to eat sufficient carb’s throughout the day I will add more to my other two protein drinks during the day.
As you can see I’m not too scientific during the off season, but come December when competition preparation starts it will be significantly different. I plan to grow up to the NABBA Wales show in May, which is perhaps different to how most athletes prepare. It’s the other way around for most, i.e. get huge and cut down, and has been for me in the past, but my plan this year was to stay off any “hardcore” supplements for 8 or 9 months, train hard, use Extreme supplements, do cardio at least three times per week, weights also three times per week and get myself fit and ready for competition training.
I used the Liquid Fury for the first time last week, and all I can say is if your workout intensity seems to be lacking, and you feel you need that certain push, then don’t use this, because it kicks you right in the back and it’s far more than a push!! It’s a holy shove in the intensity department, fantastic stuff!!
I’ll post articles periodically about how I train, how I am progressing and information about how I find the Extreme range as and when I utilise them.
In the mean time keep training, keep focused and stay healthy.
